Welcome to Aaron and Don's Trip To San Francisco August 9-11, 1999
Our first stop after landing in Oakland Airport was a popular dining establishment made popular by the VISA card advertisement where American Express was not accepted at the Fog City Diner. I am not sure that is true today, but its popularity and delicious food keeps patrons happy. After a long nap, Aaron and I went along the Fisherman's Wharf area and proceded to the North Beach area. Along the way we encountered a filming of a TV Show (I forgot the name of it). Then we ate at Cafferata, where hangs a sign that read: "Tony Bennett says This is the best home-made italian food!" It was getting dark so we decided to try it out. The sign was right. I had the meat ravioli; simply delicious. Not fancy looking inside or out, but the food delicious. A wall of pictures of many celebrities is a testament to this establishment.
